TLDSB 2014-2015 School Board Budget

The 2014-2015 draft budget for the Trillium-Lakelands District School Board has been presented to the trustees. The budget of just under 205 million dollars reflects a balanced budget. There was, however, some other initiatives included, which added another 3 million dollars that will require approval from the Ministry of Education to be drawn from surplus. The Trustees approved a revised Surplus Management Plan which included a proposed Tech Camp for students, tech shop equipment, software for school to home communication, a learning commons project, as well as the
continuation of Specialist High Skills Major staffing and the Quality Daily Physical Activity initiative. The draft 2014-2015 budget will be presented to trustees for approval at the June 10^th Regular Meeting of the Board.
