A 19 year-old Kingston man is facing numerous charges in a case of fleeing from police. On April 10th, an officer tried to stop a Lincoln car along Taylor Kidd Boulevard, but the vehicle fled the scene and a short time later the suspect driver abandoned the car and fled on foot He was not caught. Napanee OPP continued its investigation and has now arrested a suspect. The suspect did resist arrest and tried to flee. He is facing multiple charges including: Obstructing and Resisting a Peace Officer, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Flight from police, Failing to Comply with Recognizance, Driving while suspended, Using plates not authorized for vehicle and Operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
