The Wheels, Water and Wings event is adding a new feature on Saturday July 5th. The Hot on Hastings Street Party and Sale will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The “One Man Circus” performer, Circus Jonathan will be doing two walkabouts and performances, at 11:15 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m., and the Northern Lights Steel Orchestra will be playing under their big tent from noon to 3:00 p.m., beside the Scotiabank. This Street Party and Sale will have a Caribbean theme to tie in with the Steel Orchestra. Business owners are being encouraged to take some extra steps to get people into their shops by decorating for the theme.
