Haliburton OPP is searching for a missing man. Police received a report early Wednesday morning that a man had gone missing from his residence near Wilberforce, in Highlands East. 78 year-old Lorne Harris is described as a white male, 5’8”tall, approximately 160lbs, medium build, short grey hair. He may have his dog Molly with him. Lorne suffers from Alzheimer’s and dementia. Lorne may possibly be trying to get to his brother’s home in Durham. He may be operating a blue 2000 Dodge Ram pickup with Ontario licence 3093HS. The family and police are concerned for Mr. Harris’ well-being. Anyone with any information or who may have seen Mr. HARRIS is asked to contact Haliburton OPP.
