The 30 hectare forest fire burning in Algonquin is still considered out of control. Six crews are working to contain the 30-hectare fire in the east end near the High Falls area.
There is some good news; the rain has allowed crews to establish control lines around the perimeter of the fire.
Back country sites in the area are still closed.
