Relay for Life in Bancroft raised $89,486.05 was raised for the Canadian Cancer Society, last Friday. There were many team and individual efforts that made the event a success. Here is list of some of the bigger contributors:
The North of 7 Cinnamon Girls Team raised $5151.50; The Curves Crusaders raised $8717.86. The Howlers raised $11,798 and the Spokes of Hope raised $17,919. Honourable mentions went to the Cardiff Cougars for $4,602 raised, The Outriders with $3,385 raised and to the Pirates of the Care-i-bean for $3357 raised.
Top individual fundraisers were: Audrey Mackay with $5,044.85, Marilyn White: $4,290, Mac Dysart: $2,274, Janice Sears with $1,383 and Cassandra Penwell raised $1,240
