Relay for Life in Bancroft was a great success again this year. $89,486.05 was raised for the Canadian Cancer Society, The weather was cold but the teams were up for the challenge keeping to the track for the full 12 hours of relay. The theme “Choppers” was well received and there were many wonderful, colourful costumes and fun ideas. The organizers were very happy with the results considering there were fewer teams this year. This was the tenth anniversary of Relay for Life in Bancroft.
