A Bancroft OPP officer is being honoured for her part in investigating the Ottawa shooting.
A shooter stormed Parliament Hill on October 22nd 2014, killing Corporal Nathan Cirillo. The shooter was also killed.
Detective Constable Tracy Allan was a member of a unit investigating the incident.
Allan is the recipient of the Amethyst Award. It recognizes the outstanding achievements by Ontario’s Public Servants, who show extraordinary professionalism and care in daily tasks.
