Police are investigating a break, enter and theft at a variety store on Ottawa Street in Havelock. Sometime between 8:30 and 10:00 p.m. on Monday a closed variety store was broken into. The unknown persons rummaged through the store stealing snack foods, beverages, lotto scratch tickets and a small quantity of cash from the till. The Forensic Identification Unit was called in to assist. Anyone with information about this break, enter and theft is asked to call OPP or Crime Stoppers.
