Speeding brought about an arrest and several charges against the driver. Bancroft OPP pulled over a speeding car on Sunday, along Highway 62 in Hastings Highlands. Police determined the male driver was possibly intoxicated and gave him a roadside test, which he failed. The 39 year-old Hastings Highlands man was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood/alcohol level over 80, Operating a motor vehicle without insurance and using a plate not authorized for the vehicle. It is not known if he was charged for speeding as well.
