MP Daryl Kramp has announced that eleven area public buildings will be getting Automated External Defibrillators, known as AEDs. Defibrillators are used to restart a person’s heart if it stops beating. Among the communities getting the new gear are the North Hastings Community Centre, the Madoc and District Recreation Centre-Arena, and the Marmora District Community Centre Arena. Kramp the new AEDs are being made available by the partnership of Public Health and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
