Canada Day celebrations in Bancroft will run from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in Millennium Park on Tuesday July 1st. There will be Bouncy Castles, Face Painting, Children’s Games, Live Music, Food and refreshments.
The Bancroft Legion is holding a Canada Day celebration on July 1st starting at Noon. There will be an outdoor licenced area on the river side parking lot, an open jam session until 4:00 p.m., a corn BBQ and a “Bucket Draw.” You can dance under the stars with music by D.J. Mark starting at 6:00 p.m. This is an age of majority event.
Enjoy a Canada Day “All You Can Eat” Brunch on July 1st, from 10:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the Tudor-Cashel Community Centre. Adults eat for $10, children aged 6 to 12 years eat for $5 and children less than 6 years of age eat for free.
The Apsley Lions are celebrating Canada Day in Apsley with a parade from the school to the Lions Park starting at 4:00 p.m. After the parade there will be games, a food booth and live music in the park, followed by a fireworks display at dusk.
Barry’s Bay invites you to join in on their Canada Day festivities, including fireworks over Kamaniskeg Lake.
Marmora will celebrate Canada Day at Crowe’s Lake. There will be a boat parade, family activities and fireworks at dusk.
Minden has a full day of activities: there will be a crazy raft race, fishing derby and fun family events, plus evening fireworks.
In Peterborough, there will be a parade, day long activities at Del Crary Park, with entertainment followed by a fabulous fireworks display.
