Bancroft OPP say they are no longer looking for a car involved in a collision with a pedestrian. On Tuesday, a 16 year-old Bancroft girl was reported to have been struck by a red Mazda while stepping onto Highway 62 in Maynooth. She was not seriously injured. The vehicle involved apparently did not stop. Police have not said anything else except that the investigation is on-going.
