Sometime over the last month a new cell tower on Acreman Road east of Madoc was vandalized. The cellular tower is surrounded by a chain link fence and unknown person(s) damaged a lock on the gate to get into the compound. The culprits caused extensive damage to the shelter building by puncturing siding, removing an electronic box as well as bending and prying off numerous objects. You are asked to Call Centre Hastings OPP or Crime Stoppers if you have any information about this act.
