Two men are facing a number of charges after a home invasion/assault on Sunday evening. OPP officers were sent to a home in Quinte West close to midnight on a report of two men who had entered the home and assaulted two people living there. The victims were treated and released at the scene by ambulance staff. One man, a 20 year-old Trenton man, has been arrested and charged with three counts of breach of probation and two counts of Possession of a weapon while prohibited. The second suspect, a 19 year-old Toronto area man, has had a warrant issued for his arrest and has been charged with Breach of a Recognizance, three counts of Breach of probation and Possession of a weapon while prohibited. In addition, both are facing two counts of Assault, Possession of weapons dangerous to the public, Possession of a prohibited weapon and unlawfully entering a dwelling.
