The Peterborough Junior “A” Lakers beat Kitchener-Waterloo 10-6 last night and now leads the quarter-final series, two games to one. The last two games of this best of five series are this Friday in Peterborough, and if necessary, on Sunday in Kitchener-Waterloo.
The Peterborough Lakers downed the Brooklin Redmen 12-9 last night at Iroquois Park Sports Centre. The Lakers now have 18 points on the season, just four back of the first place Redmen. Brooklin has four games remaining in the regular season while the Lakers have three. The Lakers’ next action is tonight, when they host the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks for the first time this season. Game time is 8:00pm at the Memorial Centre.
