The “inheritance” letter scam is making its way around our area. The OPP say that the letters appear to come from an accountant and independent underwriting consultant in London, England. The writer says he is looking for the beneficiary of a dead wealthy business man and because you have the same name, you may be eligible for some money. Police say that this is an attempt to get personal information of money from you.
