Three people were injured early Sunday morning when the 16 foot fibreglass bowrider boat they were in collided with the west shore of Kushog Lake. Haliburton OPP determined that around 1:00 p.m. the boat, which was being operated in fog and mist, hit the shore. The 57 year-old Toronto man who was driving the boat, along with a man and woman passenger were sent to Minden hospital before being moved on to a Toronto hospital and Lindsay hospital for treatment of what police says were non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing as police try to determine if alcohol was also involved.
