Moose FM has received a report from a local business of a letter scam. A letter was received from “411CAN PAGES Inc.” requesting payment of many hundreds of dollars for a 411 web listing. The letter further stated that the account will be closed if payment is not forwarded. The business that got this letter says they have never had any association with this company and was not able to contact the senders by phone. The concern is that the person receiving the letter may not be aware that this is a scam and ends up sending money.
