A local student recently received $2,000 towards her on-going education. On Friday, a small ceremony was held at the Highway 28 Tim Hortons, where Della Davey was awarded a $1,000 Tim Hortons scholarship. Local owner/operator Glenn Keating matched the monies with an additional $1,000 to go towards her post-secondary education. Keating says, “We are happy that Tim Hortons can help Della fulfill her future goals and wish her much success.”
