Hike for Hospice will be happening on October 5th, at Bancroft Golf Club. Organizers say the pledge sheets are ready, and they’re offering some extra incentive to get out and get donations. This year, as a way of recognizing outstanding fundraisers, WestJet has partnered with Hospice North Hastings to provide the gift of flight. Anyone who raises $1,000 or more for the Hike for Hospice will be entered into a draw to win two tickets to anywhere WestJet flies. Tim Hortons is also a community partner and will be providing participants with coffee and treats. After the hike, all are invited to partake in Chillifest, starting at 5pm.
