Police paid special attention to those not observing the rules of the road over the Civic long weekend. Officers from the Quinte West O-P-P detachment issued 92 tickets for speeding alone. A number of charges were laid, including: using electronic devices while driving, not properly wearing seat belts and insurance issues. Officers also issued nine tickets for failing to move over for Emergency Vehicles.
