The Royal Canadian Dragoons and the 171st Cavalry Regiment from the U.S. Army, will be conducting a military training exercise from August 13th to 18th. The training will take place within 20 Kilometres of the South side of Highway 17 and North to the Ottawa River, between Garrison Petawawa and the town of Cobden. Armoured vehicles, support vehicles, as well as dismounted troops with small arms will all be involved with the training. The American convoy arrived at CFB Petawawa travelling along Highway 17 yesterday.
