The final visitation to the Eco Building site in Riverside Park was held last evening. A lot has been done inside with a number of feature walls, sky lighting and prep work for the heating and air conditioning unit installation. Students from the Fleming College have been doing the bulk of the work as a part of their education, but will be finishing on Friday August 22nd. The remaining work will be coordinated by Bancroft Community Transit throughout the coming year. Jane Mayberry of BCT says that some parts of the building will be in operation shortly and others, like the kitchen, will take more time to get running. Mayberry praised the Fleming College students for their dedication and enthusiasm.
