A freezing rain warning that’s in effect should be lifted at some point this morning.
It runs north of the Highway 7 corridor, from Haliburton to the east.
Environment Canada says periods of freezing rain will finally change over to rain later this morning as a warm front moves through and temperatures rise to well above the zero degree mark.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may be icy and slippery.
