Drivers are being reminded that some school busses are already on the road as we get closer to the full back to school time. All school busses return to their runs on September 2nd. You are also reminded that when you approach a school bus with its overhead red signal-lights flashing, you must stop before reaching the bus and may not proceed until the bus moves or the overhead red signal-lights have stopped flashing. There is a minimum fine of $400 if you do not stop for the school bus. Many students will be walking to school and you need to slow down and keep an eye open. The OPP will be increasing their patrols during that time.
