Two Peterborough area men are facing charges after Northumberland OPP completed an investigation into reports of driveway paving and roofing frauds. The investigation encompassed a wide area including communities as far away as Bancroft, Lakehurst, and Bobcaygeon as well as in Northumberland County and Peterborough. Fifty-three year-old Randy Davis of Peterborough has been charged with Fraud over $5,000 and four counts of Fraud under $5,000. The second man, 35 year-old Cory Howran, of Cavan-Monaghan Township, faces charges of Fraud over $5,000 and three counts of Fraud under $5,000. Anyone who may have dealings with either Kawartha Paving or Maple Leaf Paving is asked to contact Northumberland OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
