Local students could start getting suspended if they do not have up-to-date vaccination records.
Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health says tomorrow is the last day to submit updated immunization records to avoid suspensions. Because of that, the health unit will be hosting immunization clinics today and tomorrow in Bancroft.
The first is being held at North Hastings High School from 12:00pm to 6:00pm today, and is only open to elementary and secondary students. The second will be held tomorrow from 8:30am until noon, and from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, at 1P Manor Lane.
The health unit is then asking you to contact them to update your child’s records. You can do that by calling (613) 966-5500 extension 221, or taking a picture of the updated records and emailing it to [email protected], along with your child’s name, date of birth, and health card number.
