The amount of water going into and being let out of the Bark Lake Dam is dropping. Ontario Power Generation says water levels are down slightly over yesterday.
Hastings Highlands Operations Manager Adrian Tomasini says OPG is expected to let less water flow through the Bark Lake Dam because levels have decreased, and the ability for the lake to take on more water is now possible. Tomasini says everything seems to be in good shape in Hastings Highlands, but some minor repairs across the municipality are needed.
Townships throughout the region have made sand and sandbags available upon request for anyone affected by flooding.
