The Hastings & Prince Edward District School Board has just announced the recipients of the 2017 Great Place Awards, that acknowledge those who contribute to student achievement and well-being.
These prestigious awards recognize outstanding contributions by students, employees, parents and guardians, and community partners.
Some of the local award winners are:
– Natalie Brownell, a Volunteer at Bird’s Creek Public School
– School Bus Driver Keith Dickey, with R&L Bus Lines
– Heather Taylor, a Teacher at North Hastings High School
The awards will be presented at a public Board meeting in Belleville, next Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m.
