A provincial grant will help improve house league ball hockey in Bancroft.
The province has announced it will be giving the Switch Yard $18,000 to improve the league, although little information has come out as to the specific project the funding will go towards. House league ball hockey at the Switch Yard started in May.
The province says it is one of 127 sports and recreation projects in Ontario to receive funding to promote healthy and active living.
