A distress call was received by police in Centre Hastings on Friday night, when a vessel on Moira Lake appeared to be trouble. Officers responded to the shoreline near the area of Camp Lane where they confirmed the operator made it shore. Investigators say that the boat had hit a rock and tore the propeller off during a thunderstorm.
