Impaired Driving at Trailer Park Leads to Multiple Charges

Haliburton OPP laid a number of charges against a 24 year-old Barrie man after a disturbance call from a trailer park. Early Sunday morning officers went to the South Lake Trailer Park in Minden Hills where they were told that two men had been driving around the park at high speed, playing loud music and doing “donuts” in the parking lot. Police stopped a 2010 Dodge Caravan when the driver stepped out of the vehicle with a beer in hand he was promptly arrested. The driver was charged with Impaired driving, Failing to Provide a Breath Sample, Driving while prohibited, Two counts of driving while under suspension and possession of Marijuana. He has a court date in November.
