A serious collision between a car and a motorcycle along Highway 62 on Saturday is still under investigation by OPP. On Saturday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. a Ford car attempted to pass a number of motorcycles travelling south on Highway 62. The car struck a Yamaha motorcycle and knocked the rider off the bike. The 55 year-old Centre Hastings man operating the motorcycle was sent to hospital with major injuries. The driver of the Ford car, a 46 year-old Bancroft man also went to hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Names will not be released until the investigation is completed.
