Bancroft OPP was busy late last week. On Tuesday they arrested and charged a 13 year-old female minor with theft from the Dollar Store Plus on Snow Road. Wednesday police began an investigation into the theft of a Husqvarna chainsaw from a shed on Hybla Road in Hastings Highlands. The theft happened sometime during the previous two weeks. Officers stopped car on Highway 28 in Highlands East after receiving a complaint. A 32 year-old Hamilton woman who was driving, failed a road side test and was subsequently charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level over 80.
