The Vito’s Pizzeria Peewee Jets hold a 2-1 record after their opening hockey weekend. They defeated Campbellford 2-0, in their home opener Friday night. On Saturday, they downed Gananoque 4-0, but on Sunday, they fell to Centre Hastings 2-1. The Peewees’ next games are Saturday October 4th at 4:30 p.m. in Bancroft and then on Sunday October 5th at 3:00 p.m. in Stirling.
The NHHS Golf Team won gold yesterday at the Bay of Quinte Championship tournament. Tanner Brady, Connor Brown, Brad Bandy and Silas Keating beat the first place team by 8 strokes yesterday, earning them a spot at the COSSA championships tomorrow at Kawartha Golf and Country Club in Peterborough.
