The Bancroft Lions Club has been investing in our youth. For the last two years, instructors from the Advanced Coronary Treatment (ACT) Foundation have been training North Hastings High School teachers as CPR and Defibrillator instructors for students. Now every student in the school will graduate with the knowledge and skills to save lives. The ACT Foundation provides free mannequins and training resources for high schools across Canada and currently more than two and a half million students have been trained in Canada, with another 310,000 being trained each year.
