The North Hastings High School Huskies Senior Football team remained undefeated with a 42-6 win over Campbellford. Max Summers scored 4 touchdowns while Reilly Sheppard and Grayden Readman scored one each and Tanner Brady kicked 3 converts. Matt Meade led the offensive attack with solid blocking and Dakota Woodcox was stellar on Defence.

The Junior Huskies continued their trend of improving with every game, as they lost a hard fought 34-26 decision to Norwood. Matt Funk scored 3 touchdowns and Jagger McCormack added one. Logan Van Slyke led the way for the defence with solid tackling.

Next action for both teams is Tuesday in Cobourg against St Mary’s.

The North Kawartha Knights play back to back home games this weekend. Saturday they host Uxbridge at 7:20pm and Sunday they host Little Britain also at 7:20pm.

The Bancroft Motors Midgets Jets home opener is this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. They will take on Tweed. The Midgets play a second home game on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. when they face the Highland Storm.
