OPP Reminding Residents To Follow School Bus Laws On Roads

More than 9300 students in the Renfrew County are expected to head back to school on Tuesday, many of them taking a school bus to get there.

With school busses back on the road, the OPP is reminding residents to be mindful of them.

Killaloe OPP Constable Catherine Yarmel says you must wait until a bus’s lights have stopped flashing to pass it.

Yarmel also says fines for failing to stop can be very hefty.
