A woman had to be sent to hospital because of an assault in Bancroft.
It happened at a home on Maxwell Settlement Road early Wednesday morning. Bancroft OPP says the victim was found and taken to hospital, where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The Lindsay woman accused of the crime was found a short time after, and arrested. The 51-year-old now faces a charge of assault with a weapon.
