This weekend’s forecasted sunny skies and warm weather have prompted a heat warning across the region.
That’s according to Environment Canada, which says the humidex could reach 40 degrees tomorrow and on Sunday.
The weather agency says you can reduce your heat risk by scheduling outdoor activities during cooler parts of the day.
It’s important to stay cool in shaded or air-conditioned places, or in swimming pools, showers or baths.
You are being reminded to never leave people or pets inside parked vehicles.
