Bancroft OPP were busy earlier this week. Officers arrested a 60 year-old Toronto woman for impaired driving and driving with a blood/alcohol level over 80, after getting a traffic complaint along Highway 62 in Hastings Highlands. Police are also investigating the theft of two water pumps from a home on Kamineskeg Lake Road in Hastings Highlands. The pumps were taken sometime between Sunday and Tuesday. Bancroft OPP is also investigating the theft of a Yamaha Timberwolf ATV from a home on Highway 28 in Highlands East. The ATV was taken overnight from Tuesday into Wednesday. Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call the Bancroft OPP or Crime Stoppers.
