Low-income families can register for the Bancroft & Area “Adopt-A-Child” Committee’s 27th annual winter snowsuit program.
The program provides warm winter clothes to kids in the North Hastings area. Last year, 106 children received warm clothes because of it.
Another year of registration starts Monday, and continues throughout next week at the Bancroft OPP station.
– Monday, October 2nd, from 9:00am to 11:30am.
– Tuesday, October 3rd, and Wednesday, October 4th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm and from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
– Friday, October 6th, from 9:30a, to 11:30am and from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.
You have to register in person, and need to be a custodial caregiver or parent of a child in need. You can find out more by contacting Constable Philippe Regamey at (613) 332-2112.
