Ontario Parks releases Algonquin Park fall colour viewing tips

Ontario Parks is giving visitors tips about the best times to view fall colours in Algonquin Park this fall.

While the leaves are only about 50% changed in Algonquin Park, they are expected to reach peak colour change by mid-October.

Ontario Parks says, if possible, the best time to avoid crowds when looking at the leaves is on weekdays.

Drivers are also reminded to make sure they are completely off the road if they plan on pulling over to take photos, and to make sure they aren’t in “no parking” zones while they do this.
