Soldiers from CFB Petawawa will be holding military exercises along roads from Petawawa through Eganville, Cobden and Renfrew, from October 20th, to 31st. This is part of an exercise called “Hermes Reach.” The soldiers will be travelling on main roads in both urban and rural areas. You may see military vehicles and troops acting out activities such as creating a command area and putting up security around it. You are re-assured that although all soldiers will be carrying their weapons, there will be no live ammunition.
