Shooting at Rideau Centre Now Being Reported

The Chateau Laurier Hotel is in lockdown and media are not allowed to leave a secure area. There are reports of a heavy police presence is now moving down Sparks Street south past the National War Memorial. Police are expanding their lockdown area on Parliament. One reporter says the Chateau Laurier is a bit quieter now and police are considering it a safe location. There are unconfirmed reports that police are searching for possibly two other gunmen. One shooter is confirmed dead.
There has now been a confirmed shooting in the Rideau Centre, directly east of Parliament Hill. Shots are confirmed at the National War Memorial, inside the Centre Block of Parliament and outside the Chateau Laurier. In total, four shooting incidents. There’s no word yet on what happened inside the Rideau Centre, which is a large shopping centre right by Parliament. One shooter is confirmed dead. Police are searching for a possible two others.
