As the white stuff starts showing up more and more in the forecast, snow plows will also be coming out soon.
With that in mind, Bancroft’s Public Works Manager Perry Kelly wants drivers to make sure they stay a safe distance behind any snow plows they see on the road. Kelly also recommends never trying to pass a snow plow.
Kelly also reminds drivers that passing a snow plow means the road ahead of it won’t be cleaned.
He says snow plow operators have to pay attention to a lot of instruments, so it’s important to let them focus on the task at hand.
