Prime Minister Harper is reportedly home at 24 Sussex Drive but for safety reasons that is not being confirmed officially. The PM was inside the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa in a caucus meeting when shots rang out. Harper was evacuated as per emergency protocol. Meanwhile, the Mayor of Ottawa, Jim Watson who is running for re-election says he is “shocked and saddened by what has happened. “
