Bancroft’s Community Development Committee will find out more about the town’s future Earth Science Centre.
The town has been working on creating an Earth Science Centre for some time. Feedback from the county, next steps and timelines will all be part of the committee’s meeting on Tuesday.
The committee will also get an update on the how the province’s minimum wage increase will impact the town’s part-time and contract employees, along with summer students. This comes as minimum wage will be going up to $14 an hour in January, and to $15 in 2019.
The Bancroft Community Development Committee meets at the town office at 10:30am on Tuesday.
The town’s Infrastructure Committee will also hold a meeting at 8:45am, and the Water and Waste Water Committee meets at 1:00pm.
