Renfrew OPP has charged a 30 year-old man in a case of assault against a child. The four year-old boy was admitted to hospital on October 19th with serious injuries, and hospital staff notified Family and Children’s Services. The police were called the next day and after an investigation they arrested the boy’s father. The accused is charged with aggravated assault. He cannot be named to protect the identity of the victim.
